Each 2 bedroom chalet offers approximately 110 square meters of living space, featuring open-plan kitchen/living/dining areas, two covered terraces and up to six separate, western beds, sleeping four to seven guests, depending on sleeping preferences. For larger groups, the 2 bedroom chalets can be connected via adjoining doors to create a single 4 bedroom residence, accommodating up to 14 guests and allowing both the adults and kids to enjoy their own separate living spaces and entertainment facilities. Surrounded by mature cedar, oak and red pine forests, it is easy to forget that some of Hakuba’s best restaurants, bars and hot springs are on your doorstep, as are the ski-lifts of Hakuba’s largest resort, Happo-one, which was the location of the 1998 Olympic Downhill and other alpine race courses.
Our modern self-catering chalets are constructed entirely of local cedar, ensuring a refreshing contrast to the urban environment most of us know only too well. They offer all the comforts of home, including Netflix-enabled smart TV facilities, Bluetooth audio systems, high-speed wireless internet, fully-equipped kitchens and luxurious multi-person baths, designed to replicate the wonderful feeling of a real Japanese hot spring. Triple-glazed windows and doors specially imported from Finland ensure a beautiful outlook from all rooms, but also a cosy retreat for our guests, even during the coldest winter nights.
Weekly linen changes, regular towel changes and daily supermarket/restaurant shuttles are provided, and we are happy to help guests with other requirements during their stay in Hakuba, such as airport transfers, equipment rental, lessons, restaurant reservations and assistance with other general enquiries.
